The purpose of this blog is to document Alex’s journeys around the globe. However, thoughts not related to travelling surface every once in a while.

About the author

Alex, born in 1984, grew up in Norrköping, a city situated at the estuary of Bråviken at the Swedish east coast. After having completed upper secondary school, Alex moved 110 kilometres northwest to Örebro to continue studying at the university. He never travelled much as a child, but developed a predilection for being on the road sometime after he turned 20. Besides travelling, he is interested in literature, especially British 20th century literature, enjoying works by famous authors such as Aldous Huxley and Joseph Conrad. Moreover, he likes cooking, being a vegetarian for quite a few years, learning new languages and composing electronic music.

Alex currently lives in Örebro, but is going to move to Barcelona next spring.
